形態特徵

• Rhizomes terete, 2-3 mm in diam., with internodes 4 cm long, producing one leaf and one peduncle alternately. Pseudobulbs cylindrical, 1.5-4 cm long, 2-3 mm in diam., enclosed by tubular sheath of same length.
• Leaf ovate, 5-10 cm long, 3-5 cm wide, apex acute, rounded or slightly cordate at base, plicate, slightly undulate or crisped along margins, often with dark spots or blotches on upper surface; petiole 1 cm long.
• Peduncle 10-20 cm long, few-sheathed below; bracts lanceolate, 5-8 mm long; pedicel and ovary ca. 1 cm long. Flowers 3-6, perianth slightly twisted; sepals green, tinged with red toward margin and apex, oblanceolate, 14-17 mm long, 3 mm wide, lateral ones slightly oblique and adnate to saccate foot of column forming mentum ca. 5 mm long; petals similar to sepals but oblique toward apex, narrowed toward base; lip yellowish white, with red spots or stripes, cuneate obovate, short clawed at base, 3-lobed, 12-16 mm long, 8-10 mm wide, lateral lobes erect, falcate, serrate at apex, central lobe obcordate, minutely serrate, disc with 2 keels being connate into tube toward mentum, keels developed into low ridges running into central lobe of lip, sometimes with an additional small ridge between; column yellowish white, 9-10 mm long, 1 mm wide, dilated and slightly obtuse-winged at apex, with red spots or strips on ventral side, foot 5 mm long; anthers broadly cordate, glabrous or slightly hairy outside, with 2 hemispheric cells; pollinia angular globose, free or connected by viscid material.

分布

• 台灣 : forests at 1,000-2,000 m, especially abundant in north and east.
• 世界 : Southern China, Indochina and Thailand.
